Seems everywhere you go, somebody knew Eddie and theres always kind words from folks who knew him :-D There's quite a few people who have helped with this project on his behalf and with their permission, I will post their names as the project continues.
Anyway, I try to keep the thread updated...
Now that you mentioned it, seems that if we were to add-on another locking point at the bottom of the short pintle, that would be easier than chopping off the entire pintle and trying to attach a new one
Thanks for the support! I hope we get some snow this year, I'm ready for it. I think we got 3/32" last year:razz:
I cant speak for my counterpart on the M2HB site, but all in all he really aint that bad of a guy:-D
Thanks for the support guys:-D We should have another video uploaded this morning that I will share. And this one does not have tracks:wink:
Carnac, PM sent
The whole thread got trashed over there. There seems no language foul enough, or subject matter controversial enough to rise to the level of having been a part of making a LE officers task a little more safer. Oh well, it takes all kinds I suppose:roll:
This will be of the long pintle variety. Just found out that the one I have is probably not early enough or something. It is the long pintle type, but the travel lock bar holes will not line up with the ones on the mount. Anyway, this will be going on the Eddie Black M114A1E1, and any help is...
Here is a link that shows what we started with. http://m2hb.net/m2phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=1495
Also, there is a part 2 for the same vehicle, as well as other threads regarding vehicles we've altered.
The most recent sale that I am aware of was out of Chicago for $38k on Uhrig's site. Theres another one on there for over $60k
