    Mine works as advertised with the fan cycling on and off. I replaced my electrical gauge with a mechanical one a while back. However that gauge stopped working and I replaced it again with the same unit. Those two gauges read within 5 degrees of each other so I guess I'm OK.

    I'm having problems getting a tachometer to work on my 1045A2. It has the 200 amp alternator and I'm hooking up the signal wire to the AC post, yet getting no movement on the needle. I have the same exact tachometer on my LMTV and it works fine when installed there, so the tachometer is good...

    My 1045A2 runs up to 210, fan kicks in and runs until back down to 190. On 90 degree days it takes around 5 minutes to repeat.

    Make sure that you Mast up to the full extension, like vertical. It seems like I encountered the same issue once with RMTaunton's and it worked.
