the old maincylinder said it was DOT 5.0 silicone brake fluid, didnt expect that :) as the complete system is new, we could use any DOT Specification we want now

After talking 4.5 hour with him about the options we left the shop with a complete new solution as he had a better solution for our demands as we had ask for.😂

We are looking exactly for a unit which use the M1008 in the service timeline of our CUCV 1985-1996 in Germany or anywhere else. Important for us is just that we want use an unit which had use the CUCV.

It is not necessary to choose Marines, it should be just a unit which also use the CUCV and was stationed in Germany
on the Military-database.de does i found only one CUCV M1010 picture but i still did not dig in any year between 1983-1986...

Unfortunately was the truck painted in 1999 in red color for our metal business... we missed in 1999 to take care of possible traces of markings under the old paint :mad: and for our rebuild the bumpers are sandblasted and primered now.

You cant name it rebuild if you not do the whole job...
Be sure we curse a lot during the job and ask ourselves more than one time if we still go the right path! But at the end will there be a unique truck which no where else exists another one.
