Tow one at a time? Circumstances are unknown, true. Safety factor is pretty evident. I pray he made it safely, yet his conduct appears that he had little thought of his or others, especially the 60mph part.....
Hard to believe no Safety Officer didn't see this!!! DOT would have had a hay day with him here in Illinois. I agree. He would likely be ok in an accident................what he hit...............totally different story. Think I might have made a call to the State Troopers or local...
Agree with Kenny. Yet, doesn't mean Uncle Sugar didn't add one later for a particular reason. Or, could easily have been P.O...................... I would think you would want the shank to be as snug through the hole as reasonably possible. Check with mfg.

Don't know about your engine, but as a plumber, liquid has to have a path to get where its going. From block to valve covers, check port for unrestricted flow. Could use compressed air or liquid. Also check oil pressure gauge that it isn't "stuck" in the good zone. Sorry, can't be of further...
