    2 position electrical connector

Some people call them Packard connectors. I bought a bunch off the-Bay a while back just to have them. A crimping tool is useful, or you might try soldering (crimper ex. Buchanan C-24). Protip: put a little dielectric grease on any of these you take apart, so they can be taken apart later...

    7.3 powerstroke swap

Jeepsinker is detailing a Cummins 6BT transplant on this forum that might be an interesting read. I agree that something straight is easier than something V8 from what I’ve seen w these old frames. Anything is possible with enough time, money and swearing of course. Bulldogger...

    Mission Impossible..(?)

For the less agile; what are the thingies you're talking about? Some WWII relics badly in need of sandblasting and paint? He sure let them sit a while before deciding to act, eh?

What’s the going rate for slant back kit?

I make soft (nylon fabric) slant back kits, if that's an option for you. Prices start at $590 plus shipping. Bulldogger https://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?188644-HMMWV-Soft-Slant-Back-Kits-590-and-up

A cheap auto parts store manual oil gauge can be had for little $ and plumbed long enough to double-check your military gauge's accuracy. In my case the Mil gauge and/or sensor was off by 30psi (reading low). I had the exact condition you describe, and it was fixed with a new sender and new...

On my 1987 60 amp alternator engine: Water pump belt (2 needed), NAPA 25-7490 Alternator belt (2needed), NAPA 4215SS Hope this helps. These have done me well, with routine checkups and occasional re-tension. Bulldogger

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Why only three brake rotors? And you removed the auxiliary pull start cable too? BDGR

I like the marine grade steel ones I installed last month. Can see here: https://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?147917-What-have-you-done-to-your-HMMWV-today-lately&p=2233208&viewfull=1#post2233208 Search for "Amarine stainless 2-pack" on Amazon and you should find them. BDGR

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

I would think a Colorado location would have "Camo" as a choice.... You must be in Boulder... (couldn't resist the jab, no offense intended) BDGR

What did you do to your trailer today.

Most of the tie downs were attached to the center tray so they came off. I did save them and their bolts of course. I can add some back if I feel the need. I plan to use use it for cargo mostly. If camping just as carry-all. Some folks do use the tray as a starter for a small bed, but not me...

Not M101, M116A2. I do have a stock M101 but not a radar support version (it’s in the classifieds) Here is a pic of the M116 Bulldogger

What did you do to your trailer today.

Removed the center tray from my radar support trailer. Stripped most of the tie downs as well. Once the rest of the mounting fittings come off the deck I’ll have a nice semi-flat bed with cubbies on each side. Bulldogger

Parade - pulling float...unplug fan control????

My fan cycles from 225-220, on and off respectively. That's the temp on the gauge anyway. Used to not be so good, but I replaced the gauge and block sensor. BDGR
