Stretch, if you're making those brats I'd like to get with you and visit a bit. I'm always looking for ideas and to tweak recipes.
Kipman, I know you said you're bringing a smoker but I'll likely tote one along, too. BBQ is like beer. It's not just for breakfast anymore.
I don't want to...
EDIT: adding some prices. I'll add more when I can get my son to stop over and let me know what he wants for his junk....err, collectables with a patina.
I'll be in space 620.
I can also bring:
Two straight CUCV hoods with hinges. Pics available. $100 ea. SOLD
M1009 tow pintles and the...
Kipman, I sometimes think smokers of all kinds, but stick burners in particular, should come with a sign "If you're lookin' you aint cookin' "
Someone needed an M1009 spare tire carrier. I have a good one I can unbolt and bring. SOLD
I can also bring:
I have one 14' 5-ton cargo cover and...
Thanks. The real question was "Should I bring a wood burning smoker or an electric one?" The stick burner is a more zen experience but the electric leaves more time for shopping and visiting....
Lance
Westy and dh. The link to the show info is a dead end (at least for me). Have you got a good link?
Thanks
Lance
EDIT: Found a good link at: http://www.findlaymilitaryshow.org/
Westech and rsh4364, if you gents are looking for the square tubes that the shackles hang on (frame extensions) I have some on a pair of parts trucks. I'm still working on coming to the show as was teaching a hunter ed class during the Sussex show and a son is getting married during the...
I may have a GL item from Warner-Robbins being picked up by MDMorgan and he's checking with a buddy to see if he's headed to Aberdeen and can help get the item there.
If he isn't going I'd gladly pay someone to tote the item to Aberdeen. I won't be at Aberdeen due to one of our sons...
I may have a GL item from Lockbourne being picked up by tabr123 that I'd gladly pay someone to tote to Aberdeen. I won't be at Aberdeen due to one of our sons getting married that weekend but several friends will be there and could take the hand-off.
Thanks for looking and please post back or...
If you flat tow it with a medium towbar you'll have to extend the legs about as far as they'll extend and take wide turns. The overhang on the DUKW is pretty far out past the shackle points. Wide turns help preserve the DUKW's sheet metal.
Nice looking machine. While you have the engine out...
I suspect that the way you have the MWOs listed is not quite correct. The numbers you have listed as 201, 204 etc are most likely 20-1, 20-4 etc. If you do a web search for "HMMWV MWO list" take a look at the infmotorpool link and you'll find what you're looking for. If the link doesn't show...
Mike, Ed and I have three indoor spaces (90') in one of the sheds. Due to a late schedule change I won't be there as I'm teaching a hunter ed class (2nd time in three years there was a hunter ed conflict). As things developed, Ed may now be in North Carolina and unable to attend, too. Chris...
We'll be with Ed in the L-Z Surplus spaces A38-41. We're still digging but for now we're bringing:

1951 dtd steel fuel can painted white
1985 dtd steel fuel can painted red
Steel water can, clean inside
CUCV resistor pack, good...
You might want to look into a Battery Minder charger/maintainer/desulphater. Our experience is that if you use them once in a while, particularly on batteries that sit most of the time you can can get roughly double the normal life out of batteries. We have both 12V and 24V units. About 6...

Steve, Chris will have your M103 trailer parts. If I make it I'll be down Friday. I have an important meeting Thursday night. We have the front shield and some bows. Was that all? It's been a while and I didn't make a note. BTW, the shield still has the brackets for the sledge hammer (pre...
I have D8 Dave's persaonal M1009, a strong runner with only 19,000 miles that is literally rusting apart the whole length of the floor. I'll be parting it out starting this week. The entire dirveline is up for grabs except the transfer case. The left door and glow plug relay are already...
