Also this past week I decided to relocate the air drains for the air tanks to make it easier to drain the tank and to help with moisture & corrosion. First I installed the Manual drain valve with pull cables and they did not work that great for me. After 2 days one started to leak and in the...
Hey guys,
Was looking into buying a Pulse Tech Solargizer for my M35A2 & M998. But had a few questions
1) Are they worth the money?
2) Are the electronics waterproof for fording deep water?
3) What the difference in military vs civilian version?
4) What model is the best to get?
Finally I...
Updated on brakes. So a few weeks ago I order a new Air pack & rebuild kit. Finally got time this weekend and installed the new air pack and bleed the brakes again. Finally now the brake pedal is perfectly firm and the trucks stop on a dime. I am amaze how good the brakes are in this old truck...
So what I did is I got a Diesel engine compression tester off amazon that when up to a 1000 PSI. Now for the cylinder adapter, I could not find the government issue one anywhere. So I made my own by boring out a old diesel injector and tig welding the fuel supply hole and add a gauge to the...
Thanks for the replay Toddjk. The pedal goes all the way down to 1in off the floor before stopping. The truck does stop when the brake are applied and stops very well. The pedal is really soft and there is no resistance. Also the pedal sinks to the floor. There is no water in the air tank. Tanks...
Hey guys,

You can even use a centrifuge on your diesel engine to help with oil changes. If I didn't already install a Bypass filler on my 7.3 diesel, I would have when that route for help clean the oil.
A bowl centrifuge spins the oil, with particulate settling out against an inside wall of the bowl. A layer of water forms on top of the hard particles, followed by a layer of water/oil emulsion and then a layer of oil that progressively becomes cleaner toward the center of the bowl.
(Basically...
Hey Guys,
Has any one ran alternative fuel in there HUMVEE. For example WMO. Currently I use a (Waste Oil Centrifuge) to clean waste oil for my M35A2 and it works out great. I run the truck at mix of (80% Waste Oil to 20% Diesel Fuel) in the summer and have never had any problems for the...
I got a (NORCO high lift wheel dolly) about 2year ago and I was on the fence about buying it. But it was the best investment. Before that it would take me half of the day just to remove and install all 6 tires with two people and a lot of tools. Now I can remove all the tire, by myself and just...
The truck is a M929 Dump Truck. The tuck is on govplanet. But I have never seen a blower switch like that, I have only seen the toggle switch type. I am currently working on building a customer heater for my m35a2 and would like to use that kind of switch for the blower. All on or nothing for...
The lockers where the best investment ever, for this truck. It's like night and day now with them. I had to use them just this Saturday in the snow. I got the truck suck a few times this weekend in about knee deep snow. But as soon a flip the switch to lock the rear lockers, I could not get the...
It doesn't have a lot of water in the system just enough to freeze some of the air lines components (EX, air horn....) in really cold conditions (15F and below). All air compressor system are going to get water in them, with out a air drier. Even my shop air compressor (Ingersool Rand 60gallon)...
