Indeed, you are correct. The important thing is that our terminology is accurate on our website, where it counts. We are chatting in a forum;-) The best quality you can get in 2024 is factory remanned, not new. Remanned being a step above rebuilding. New is not available.
Minimum run lots are over 1,000 units to get a reasonable competitive rate. Regarding our listing for a new pump. The price is what it is. I will add that we rarely rarely sell a new unit at this price, hence why we are looking for rebuild partners.
Indeed. Many parts are available. We still sell rebuild kits, plunger guides, buttons. I believe some of the larger parts are not available. Not 100% sure what part is not available, but I have not run into a specific issue yet. Could you forward the handles of anyone who might be good to reach...
So, I was working on a unit the other day, a MEP002A, because the engine was not adjusting well to load fluctuations. We found that the governor spring had become incredibly stiff. Has anyone had this issue? The spring did not look corroded or rusty in any major way. Does anyone have any...
Hoping this is the correct place for this request. Bob here from GMG. We are looking for a new partner for Ambac M50 rebuilds. If any of the experts in this community would like to discuss working with us, I'd love to talk to them. We had a direct service with Ambac, but, even Ambac, has stopped...
Starting a new thread for this issue.
Hello, we have a similar issue with rectifier board burning up, including a new one:( We have installed a new master switch and we have checked the diodes. Our tech, who is amazing, is still scratching his head... Is anyone aware of other points of failure...

Thanks. Would be ideal to find a generic replacement for this part. I would be willing to compensate for technical consulting and testing if anyone is interested.
thx
We have this engineering document: https://greenmountaingenerators.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/MEP802A-MEP803A-MEP804A-B-MEP805A-B-MEPXXX-K1-Relay-6110-01-367-8921-88-21066-JAG-6008-510x389.jpg
Hello there. Does anyone have the detailed engineering specifications for the K1 relay. We are trying to find an aftermarket part that can replace this on the TQG series. Many thanks.
Does anyone have the Ohm range for the fuel level switch on the MEP804A-B? Looks like 24v and 8 inches would do, but not sure of the Ohm range. These are the details I have:
ACYR
DC Voltage Rating
24.0 volts nominal
ADAV
Overall Diameter
1.250 inches nominal
AFLW
Actuation Method
Buoyancy...
Yes, simple to clean and inspect. I own GMG. You can buy a small replacement screen and gasket which is a good idea, but cleaning the one in the unit has a 50/50 chance of being good. Some elbow grease and clean diesel is all you need and some good brushes. Compressed air is needed to blow out...
Does anyone have the MEP807A parts manual? Is it declassified? It should be. But I can only find these two manuals:
Operators
TM 9-6115-729-10
35 C2-3-519-1
TM07464C-10/1
Unit, DS, GS
TM 9-6115-729-24& P
35 C2-3-519-2
TM07464C-24/2
Found it at GMG.
THE "PS" here is important.
When you connect a generator to a home via a transfer switch, typically only the two hot lines get transferred from grid to generator or vice versa. The neutral is still connected from generator to panel and to the grid. Since this neutral is already BONDED (i.e...
GMG here. There is absolutely no downturn in MEPs. There are typically one to two MEP sales each month only on GL. There are other sites that are also selling units. That said, we are far more focused on parts than whole goods at this point. The costs of generators at auction have gone up...
GMG here. We never sell trailers on eBay. We only sell locally via Craigslist as shipping costs are prohibitive and most buyers are very local. Again, please use Our phone number is 802-368-1750
