We have been ending up with about a 12" or so gap the way we have been putting them together. Mostly because its "easier" to make everything work this way for us when Fabricating. I have had several ask "why such a gap". So I have been thinking about how to close it up a bit without causing...
The 100dollarman wheels will be a nice upgrade!!! Duly noted. I also want to confirm which 46" tire we will use--- Michelin XML or Goodyear MVT-- I have both in stock. (same price)
Still waiting on the Fab shop on my wheel centers- should get a report on those today--- I have had trouble...
A little progress on #22-- a long weekend and a couple of sick (maybe hungover?) employees have slowed work on her a bit!
I am going to close the gap between the bed and cab on this one 4" and see how that works-

Here is a pic of #21 that...
If you not going to air down lower than about 15psi, you can run no runflat, no PVC. We dont even have to balance the 37s most of the time if they are in good shape.
The PVCs are a good way to go, but its not just chopping pipe. It has to be the correct width of course, tapered correctly...
Left the shop at 4am---- to Herlong to pu 5 M101s. Wasnt sure how they would load, but they went on the 30' trailer no prob.
1020 miles rd trip!!! Over some of the tallest passes in the west -- one was 8138 elevation! 10mpg on the way back. 2009 Dodge Cummins. Got home at 2:30 this...
WOW! Great recovery! Thank you for the story and pics! Very insprirational.
Right after I received your email saying that you made it, I got a call from another customer that made it home on a 500 mile run from my shop to North of Sacramento---- TWO sucessfull long range journeys in one day...
