    Doghead dilemma

I agree with CUCVRUS. Check the Red fusible link wire coming off of the 24V positive bus bar. This wire feeds the starter relay with 24 volts and it feeds the 24v fuse in the fuse box. It is labeled 1RED-2Z THERMO HW in the CUCV starting circuit diagram.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Yes I did install new poly for the body, trans/transfer case mount, springs and radiator. I am looking forward to seeing if it improves the ride. Also installed second fuel tank, transfer pump and associated wiring. Replaced every piece of rubber I can find. Had the engine rebuilt, transmission...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

It's much easier if there is someone else there to position the cab in the correct location. And if you do not need to cut the floor pans to get the body mount bolts to come out and go back in. Actually, these trucks are pretty simple to take apart and reconstruct.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Marcus, Actually some of the pictures were added to help a member with exactly what you suggested. He needed some info on one of the items that are on the rear of the engine that is not easily seen. Your idea of having pictures of the more difficult and unseen places is a good one. I'm trying...

"Bikini" bed cover for shortened cargo beds

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

That's a good idea, I should have completed that prior to reinstalling the power plant. Never even thought of that modification. This truck is being refurbished to participate in the MVPA 2019 Convoy. After it's back together the modified S250 Camper will be added to it.

    m1008 glow plug/wait light issue

I think dougco1 is on the right track. Disconnect the temperature sending unit that goes to the GP card and see if the Wait light comes on and the card closes the GP relay when you try to start the engine. By disconnecting the sensor, you give the card a high resistance on the sensor input to...

This glow plug card has an "additional heat" option to turn the glow plugs on when the engine is warm. http://www.glowplugcards.com/ I moved this thread to the CUCV forum.
