I just bought a USMC M1102 MCC flatbed HMMWV trailer. The Marines were a bit rough on the front marker light brackets. Anyone have NOS brackets for front right and left brackets?
Aaron, if you haven't used that POR 15 system before, your going to love it! They have it in spray cans now too for tight places.
I've got the same doors on my M146, I can't imagine two guys not being able to man handle them off, but mine are aluminum skinned though...
I decided to upgrade the visibility of my M936A1 wrecker. They are very dark to the rear at night. I started by adding a pair of Grote LED tail lamps. While I had the reflector mounts off, I had a sheet metal shop fabricate two identical reflector plates to be mounted to the inside of the tail...
You may want to register with the "M715 Zone." It's a forum dedicated to the M715 series of1 1/4 ton trucks. Many of the customized M715's are built with the Deuce 2.5 ton axles. Michelin 14R20's and 395/85R20 tires are commonly used. I'm in the process of building one as well using Hutchinson...

Those are definetly not HEMTT wheels. You have 6 lug adapter plates bolted partially onto the wheels for the 2.5 ton axle bolt pattern. I'd have to see the top half of the wheel in order to attempt an ID.
I've got a M932A2 zero hour/mile ready reserve truck with a short bed in the future. I've got to say, Hiway Queen or not, your truck is a great inspiration!
I have that valve on my M936A1, however it does not lock the brakes? My truck also as the upgrade momentary push to release brake valve beneath the steering wheel under dash that I never understood what it was for as the brakes never locked. The auto idle up works fine while using the crane...so...
Those are 2,500# axles under it. So you'll have a max GVWR of 5,000 pounds. Your M998 unladen curb weight is 7,700 pounds. Could be an exciting ride from Barstow to Vegas. It will be so grossly overweight and a attractive vehicle combination it surely will grab the attention of your friendly CHP...
I had a similar experience with my M936A1. I was getting sudden diesel knock after sitting for a couple months during the winter. Pulled the fuel filter can down, it was full of water and muck. Changed it out with a new updated filter which has the Schrader valve on top. My fuel tanks had lots...
Ditto on the 5.9 Cummins 24 valve. Check out member HanksDeuce build here and utube. He also has a website build. You can spin those 5.9s way up in HP, 500 hp is pretty easy to attain. Shoehorning the 5.9 into a Deuce was no small chore, Hank does a fabulous job documenting his build with...
