Here's the quick/dirty Marquee Vs Ultra (NOT 4300) comparison...
Marquee laid down a lot flatter, and covered better. I intentionally used a crappy brush and pressed down hard in some areas, leaving LOTS of paint, and left others almost bare..
The Ultra shows this, quite a bit. Brush marks...
I used a cheap brush to paint one panel of my m1031 with premium plus ultra and one with marquee..
They're interior panels so it was a good spot to test..
Paint is drying..will update with pics for comparison..
Right off the bat...
Marquee lays down better, flows better, and covers a LOT...
Went out to move it after it was parked for a couple days...
Issue seems to have resolved itself...
Maybe more air in the lines than I thought?
Power steering is working at all ranges..
The 146 trailer seems similar weight ~7k lbs as the m934 box, and a couple feet longer..
How feasible would it be to relocate the exhaust and spare tire carrier and bolt up the 146box minus the trailer frame/running gear to an m934 which already has the extra long wheelbase...
Might extend...
The previous unit didn't fail.
The bolts fell out, from vibration...
It was being held in by the belts, and STILL working....
I will look through the TM and see if anything helps..
BUT, I did notice it was leaking..... and NOT from the 3 holes at the bottom....
I opted to replace it...
Well..old power steering pump ate a bolt and tossed the other bolts...
Got a replacement..
This one has no assist at idle... And has the lines BURNING hot ....
Ideas?
Possivly not the pump or did i get a dud?
I loctited the bolts in.. So if its the pump.. Im gonna be pissed.
Picked up an M109 box on a trailer. Unfortunately, because of the previous owners health concerns..
But it's going to a good home (mine), and it'll be back in tip-top shape in no time.
Funds will be tight (unemployed for six months, just got new job), but I'll bring water, soda, etc. for everyone.
I will need a couple coolers with ice though, if someone wants to bring some so I can chill the drinks for the weekend, that'd be appreciated.
I built mine..
Build list is in this tread somewhere...
4770/24770 filter head (x2) , about $25 a piece
A couple 1/2" NPT x nipples
1/2" shutoff valve
had to make the compression to barbed nipple adapter
Well, I found out what it was....
So, you know there's FOUR bolts that bolt the power steering pump to the power steering pump bracket?
Wanna guess how many I had in there?
I'll give you a hint... It's less than 1...
Friggin awesome that it actually RUNS, and WITH power steering...
HAZMAT training drilled into my head says fuses aren't always best... :-p
When I got them for free, it was fine.. Now that they're like $10 for 3 of them.. Meh....
Collapsible LED road cones are my next idea...
