Amen to Bruce - I've done a considerable amount of flat towing (well, considerable to anyone but Kenny) of deuces with deuces - once you learn the "tricks" its not tough. Moved a dead five ton around on an airfield with a deuce - that taught me I'd not even consider the tow on the highway. DD

Clinto is dead on the money - got this lesson in spades last week. Kept a pile of parts around here for 10 years. Tossed them a couple months ago - last week spent 500 bucks to replace them! DD

Deuceman, Since you have such an early machine, perhaps you can confirm some info for me. I presume that your truck does not have the splash shields between bumper and grille, is that correct? Does it have a slave receptacle? Just trying to confirm the ORD9.... Thanks, David Doyle

The fire truck hidden in the background of a photo in another thread brought on some comments - so here it is. The first photo is of the truck as I bought it. The second photo is with restoration about 90% done. The third photo is after I had to walk away from the project for about 4 years...
