    Cowl Vent Repair Your gonna need a donor, or eliminate it all together........personally, I'd miss the vent! Nick at home did it over on Robi's page. I think the windscreen needs to be off the cab to facilitate this repair, or at least make it a little easier. ;-) Take some pic's we need 'em!

    Hopefully when the shackles come off, the welds will be an easy grind? They look like they've been that way for quite sometime? Do the strap go completely around the gas tank, they should!

    I just went back & looked at your first post, it's hard to tell, but the frame tails look intact? Are the shackles bolted or welded on the the frame tails? If they are bolted, you might be in luck! :wink:
