Do you have the compressor for the Red Dot aircon installed?
https://www.steelsoldiers.com/threads/belt-info-on-my-m1123-with-6-5l-serial-number-below-196901.199416/
You can also take a picture of your belt/engine showing the top passenger side where the red dot compressor would go, and of...
Multiple smaller containers will have a lot less surge effect than a single larger one, so unless you plan to have every single one of them at 1/2 full, it shouldn't be an issue.
It would also allow you to have multiple points at which you can refuel, or in the case of the generators you drop...
It's a bit tall, and will have a high center of gravity, but I don't see why not.
Most of the time I'd see the 600 gallon fuel tanks set up on FMTVs (2 tanks with the pump setup in the middle.
My suggestion though is it would be much easier/safer to operate if you mounted it onto a low...
50 amps is 12kw at 240V
That's the continuous duty rating for the breakers, wiring, and plugs, not the surge.
The breakers are going to be a thermal trip type, which means you can do heavy surge loads on them for short periods of time without them tripping. It's done on purpose specifically...
DEX VI is a little thinner, and GM says not to use it in power steering or manual gearbox applications.
That being said, it's what the military is using.
You might still have some air in the system, or might have an air leak letting air in.
It might be one of the other components, but...
You will have to lie to them when renting the trailer, as the H1/HMMWV is larger than the trailer is rated for.
And because you lied to them to rent it, if anything happens then their rental insurance won't cover anything, and you're out all associated costs due to breaching the contract.
Just...
To fit a turbo motor into a non-turbo truck you have to add some spacers to the body. It's approx 1/2" lift that is needed, so not all that complicated.
Then will need to acquire the turbo doghouse cover.
Not sure if you really have to use a different wire harness or not.
The RL-207(*)/G is an engine-driven reel unit used with the 1¼ ton, 4X4 Cargo Truck M880/M-1008 or any larger vehicle to pay out or recover field wire or spiral-four cable. As many as four separate field wires may be recovered at the same time: two field wire lines from Wire Reels RL-159/U, or...

They are electrical, and rely on resistances changing as temps change.
It is always a good idea, when trying to diagnose an issue you think you have because of a gauge reading, to verify the gauge is reading accurately. They can be off because of a bad sender, a...
When you unplugged the temp sensor, did the fan engage?
If not unplug the cadillac valve itself. If the TDM (Time Delay Module) fails, it will keep the fan disengaged no matter what the senders are doing.
First things first, get a laser thermometer or other method of verifying the engine temp. Don't trust the gauge to be accurate.
Not the thermostat. The fan would kick in, and unless you're at an idle, you'll hear the fan kick in.
If it's that hot, unplug the cadillac valve. If it engages...
True, but once again, I keep a spare tire assembly with me everywhere I go, so driving home under those conditions would just be delayed by how long it takes to swap them out.
If I didn't have a spare tire, then I most certainly would worry more about that.
Oh, and I do pay for AAA RV+towing...
I have no intention of taking my truck anywhere that people will be shooting at me, so if I'm limited to 2mph and have to drive 1/4 mile before the trail levels off enough to safely change it out, I'm fine with that.
If I was expecting to be shot at and chased down as I'm trying to escape, then...
Hutchinson has a runflat lubricant for them
It's $55 or more per 12oz tube.
According to one website, a 27x12.5R16.5 tire is supposed to have 4 tubes of it.
That allows you to drive up to 30 miles at 30 miles per hour.
I say screw that. If the tire fails on me, I'm only driving it far enough...
You definitely know what you are doing.
Unfortunately most laws are written to deal with the id10ts among us, not people like you who actually understand what's going on.
It works for you, so good on ya, but my public stance in an open forum is always going to be follow the laws and...
yes, you have.
You are obviously taking the proper precautions so far in that you've disabled your main breaker, but that doesn't make what you are doing correct.
backfeeding is illegal. I know of no jurisdiction in the U.S. where it is legal.
Linemen HAVE been killed because of it. There...
