I always get a temporary tag with the form 97 before I transfer it into a title. But you must have the vin number inspected (out of state inspection) before you can get a title. You may be able to get a temporary tag from a bill of sale (invoice?) but I have never tried it.My insurance...
Ken.Let me be the optimist in the crowd. One day a few years ago,I was also driving down the highway to work in my 1009 when the thing started hammering like crazy.I was going to pull over and call a wrecker.I continued to work about 3 miles without problem.During the day I went out and started...
One of them starts and has good brake pedal pressure, the others probably need batteries at least.
Trailboss. How did you find out about your two trucks?Did the GL people tell you?
There are two o-rings on the throttle shaft. One on each side where it seals to the pump housing. The throttle shaft goes completely through the housing to actuate the ramp for timing? on the passenger side. Its been a couple of years since I've done one but you need to remove the 3 screws on the...
I would bet that the throttle shaft o-rings are leaking and as someone said fuel is draining back to the hole in the back of the block. This hole comes out through the back of the block and drains down through the bell-housing.I would again look for leaks at the injector pump.
I know that the pump is running but I guess I'll have to check what kind of pressure I have at the final filters. My deuce tractor had a bad in-tank pump for a while but never had any running issues.
I'm sure that this probably been covered before but I could not find any exact answers.I have a deuce that will surge at idle from about 400 rpm up to 1200 rpm.It will rev up fine but seems to loose throttle response at times as well.I can push the throttle down enough to get a steady 1000 rpm...
TM.I can get you pictures and measurements of mine if you like.I know of a guy in western Ohio that took an M275 and put a 105 bed on it and a bunch of other crap:cry:.Terrible waste of a good 275.
I picked up a winch truck at Redstone.(Don't tell Ty ;-)).It didn't look like it had any rust holes.Looked like most trucks were around $1,000.With winch $1,500.How can you beat that?
Looks like I could use driver door parts and a spring seat if you guys are parting out trucks.
jwaller. If the air valve for the hand brake is the same for the 923's and A1's,John Winslow had some. But they weren't cheap...I think $50 each. The same valve is on the transfer case and elements would eat them right up.Air governors are available through Napa and other truck shops.Winslow also...
OK Will.I have had enough.Stop twisting my arm.I'll Give in and come out there and help you restore and maintain those vehicles with you.But just so you know I'll be leaving near perfect weather, but what are friends for!:-D
I don't plan to head east until Aberdeen. The truck is out in the weeds so I'll have to take a look at it when I get a chance.I just bought the truck for parts and never drove it.
