Lol like I say nothings more scarier then meeting people on a 2 lane road doing 70mph and all that separates you is a painted doted line !!!
Nobody does things that you considered half way safe when others say are you stupid on here ???? Dang!!!
Yep that was only part I did not like about it. I drive trucks so I watch ahead and pay attention to corners . Crazy the exhaust brake on the pickup works pretty good slowing down . Luck it is rolling flatland like you say . 150 mile trip I meet about 30 cars . Built it just to pull 4...
It's on the gooseneck ball , works like a gooseneck trailer tips to the side , to the front and back. Lots of movement. Road in North Dakota and Montana roads are crappy.
Take 36" posthole auger dig 8' deep hole.
Insert fertilizer ( thief)
Fill hole 3/4 full of dirt
Plant nice big tree in hole
Finish filling the hole
Problem gone and you get to enjoy a beautiful tree!!
Got the pedal moved, bought the panel and tried to use the brake valve on the center console in a comfy spot but there was to many wires or heater core in the way . Worked great just moving the pedal down. Lots of great spare parts on that panel, cheap and glad I bought that panel!!! Pedal use...
Bought from a business in Sidney Montana, motor is shot . Rest of it's there . Think that's what it is anyway , bed with canvas cover . Guy is hauling 2 wreckers I bought at auction sale he had . Bought after the sale. Going to get them next week.
Congratulations on your truck !! Kind of fun to work on, did I really say that lol I got 6 trucks know. 3 m936, m931a1, m9?? Troop carrier motor shot, Hemtt 978.
The go pedal in the Hemtt is crazy uncomfortable when ankle don't bend good anymore. Any ideas on modifying ??? It's air operated to the motor thought about putting hand operated one on , any ideas????
Lol thanks , got to say I was getting disappointed in it, but every thing finally works now !! Not lying I sat down with good ol glass of whiskey on the rocks and said dam it's hot out here 😊 was noon here ! Appreciate all the advice!
Good day , finally got rebuilt cylinders on , made some new hoses up and boom finally stays up 😊😊got to finish putting some panels on clean up the Valdez like oil spill, glad in North Dakota and not California for this mess , happy happy 4th !!!
Thanks for the info, I'll see if I'm going keep other cylinders or sell . I'll have to check out the TM thing and figure it out, or try . My patience isn't much better , I usually sit down watch YouTube have a drink or 2,3....
Just got call from hydraulic shop on cylinders, all seals where coming apart ,chunks missing , rod and pistons are good, Cylinders need to be honed out some rust, going to cost about $600. Really glad to at least know what was causing cylinders to go down.
