The drive to Findlay is worth every mile from SC. Aberdeen got worse and worse. The best part was the convoy in, and that died off quick when fuel skyrocketed.
Highy recommend the Findlay show. If you are from the southeast I will have two more empty seats next year...
Jeepsinker, I have you down for one.
A/C kit is sold
Several more stoves left but only 4 burner kits new in the box left. I will bring all I have to the rally and work deals if you need parts or pieces or want to take all I have home.
I would like 4 of those fire extinguishers if you still...
BTW primative camping for three people is $25 a night this year.
EDIT: Clint said in the info post $25 a night for 3 people. But I just found it on the Durhamtown website and it says $20 a night for 3 people $5 each additional person.
I have an A/C kit with heater, exactly like the one Zout put in a deuce- $350 still in the crate in boxes. The crate sat outside for a little while but the other one I opened to use that was sitting next to it all the stuff in the boxes was just fine as they are sealed in plastic. Again asking...
Figure 35mph and 2-3mpg for a moving average. A m923 is pretty heavy for an m816. You are asking a nhc 250 to pull 36k plus 22k.
Not to be rude, but unless you are prepared to go though the m816 with a fine tooth comb and spend time and big bucks to make it absolutely road worthy and as...
I hauled used vegetable oil in a military tanker with a m915 for two years. Did 500 mile trips. I put about 40k miles on the tractor. I do still have it although right now she just sits with no job to do. Bobtail was bad to awful. Empty trailer was ok to bad and loaded trailer was ok. I mounted...
Another thing to concider is the m916/920 are 10-15mph slower top end than a m915. If you plan a lot of long highway miles, a m915 is a better bet. I put a civilian retread with lugs like the goodyear 177 tires on her and she is ok on slick grass and a little mud. Again a lot of it is skill and...
Welcome to the site! 30kw wouldn't even blink at your house o both your neighbors. I would recommend selling or trading for a smaller one.
Definitely try to make a rally. You will learn tons of useful info by reading the TMs and reading on this site.
Just be careful. Or she will steal it for...
If they work in stop/turn, but not in service, the only variable changed is the contacts in the light switch. I would pull the cable off and hook another up under the dash, before you pull the old switch, and test.
If the grounds were bad they wouldn't work in either mode.
I'm not going for a Seabee truck. The regular Navy did have M37's that were used on bases or assigned to ships.
I am going to have the US with the anchor in the middle made into 16in stencils for the doors. This is a US Navy tribute truck, not an actual restoration. Besides, all the research I...
Just start a new one on the exact same subject like 50 other people do!
Thanks to everyone who worked behind the scenes to get us this information.
cooler heads have prevailed and I can buy more junk. All is right with the world... for now.
