So I have all the glass, gaskets and trim... Truck has had the EUC approved and now waiting on the shipper... I took a trip down to Doyle to pick up a M1101 trailer.... Horrible weather and that cured me of wanting another road trip. Can't wait to give the truck some much needed TLC.
From the sticker on the trailer it says APS-4 Korea. So I take it this was over in Korea waiting on Korean war number 2 (or maybe for it to heat up again)
I just picked one up for 650 plus fees. It is brand new old stock from Doyle CA. The icing on this M1101 cake was ALL of the hardware and bows and cover for the top was in the bed. LED marker lights also.
Just revived approval and looking for transportation. Non running with all wheel. GP can forklift on and roll off here.
I also want to put a bid out on Uship... What category are People using.
Oh boy. I posted my adventure to get the M1101 in the trailer forum. While dealing that the EUC was approved on Friday the 24. Much MUCH faster than I guessed. That adventure took anyway in urge for a road trip and the weather... I'll see what shipping will be and go from there.
I'll reach...
All I got to say is WOW... Just got the trailer home... 1500 miles in one of the worst snow storms I have experienced. In the last 40ish hours I have only about 5 hours sleep. Colder than a well digger's back side. It was down to -6º F... WOW for the dirt "road" you have to drive down to get...
Thanks for the tips! These are all very good!! I have a set of magnetic "drag" lights so that is good. I really like the idea of the IR thermometer. Also bring the standard tool kit and jack.
I think I won a nice trailer... judging by the pictures all of the bows and hardware is there in the...
Sounds like a road trip to me... That and you I don't have to deal with the mind dead drones racing up The 5 (I5 for non Californians and East of the Rockies)
oh.... And stop with the Washingtonians needing Starbucks  I'll take Dutch Bros over Starbucks
Howdy new forum! I won a M1101 and planning on picking it up tomorrow.... It's a long drive to get it home. Is there any advice for when to look for or what. I looked the the pictures and the trailer looks good from the pictures. My main concern would be bearings. Is there anything I could...
I'll check with him... I don't have to drive through Northern California to get to Barstow... I can actually drive through Salt Lake City and only add about an hour to the drive... Or it is faster to drive though Nevada.
But speaking of Norcal... I won a M1101 at Doyle and hopfully be there...
Who lives in Washington DC AND collects MVs? Why type of person would this be? Guess a HMMWV could be useful to drive through all of that BS... Also is Washington DC abbreviated WA? Always seen it DC... West of the Rockies you are on the Art Bell Show!
Now if you confused Western Australia WA...
