I must live in God's country because everywhere I go locally and buy parts I have developed a great relationship with the sales people. I can walk in and ask for a size belt that is a 1/2" shorter ten the one I carry in. They give me one and I walk out and come back in and say how about another...
I will ship out today. Thank you. I have 1 more of the custom made brackets. They fit perfect. I will also send the metric block bolt. Thank You and Have a Great Day.
The belt thing is easy. I met you so I know you can handle this without any tears. Take the truck to the parts store. Drive it with the screaming, whining belts that you have. Take all the tools you need to change the belts and a socket to fit the center nut on the alternators. walk in a out of...
Yea I don't have any of the antenna brackets. Shame is back 25 years ago I removed everyone and tossed it them in the scrap metal container. That was all the cargo cover bows, dash mounted raio rackes and the rear seat radio racks. Into the scrap steel they went. The people thatw ere buying...
Oh yea I wanted to point out I also removed the antenna brackets and welded all the hole shut where the brackets attached to the body. I like the clean look. I always seen a rust area starting around everyone of them bolt holes.
Tonight after work I had planned on mowing grass again. As sson as the thought crossed my mind and I was going out the door the skies opened up and iyt poured down rain. So much for that job. I had other things that needed taken care of. It has been a couple years since I started an M1009 I have...
Next I removed the rear access panel. Yes this truck has Line X sprayed in the entire interior up to the bed rails. Removing the rear window felts/rubbers is the worst part of this job. I have both removed with a moulding tool. Next I must remove the 4 bolts from the sash and roller guide...
I was looking at the M1009 that a customer brought me for a lot of work. I rebuilt this M1009 about 7-8 years ago. I noticed the gate was not closing properly. It was out of adjustment and there is very little adjustment to get these gates in further and tighter. I removed the strikers and cut...
I sent you a PM with price and details. Please keep in mind the threaded hole in the block that the starter support bracket bolts to is Metric. M8 X 1.25.
No That is laughing at someone that thinks 30 year old used transmissions are worth installing. I have several used CUCV transmissions and would not even consider selling them as useable even when I knew they came from low mileage CUCV's 20+ years ago. Just not worth the effort. I have been in...
That power steering pump will work. If you look at the picture with the red circle that engine lifting bracket has 2 holes that is where the remote reservoir bolts fast. I like that set up . Beats the stock set up now that you have it. Save the coin and get other things in order before you spend...
I don't like that standard bolt in the block. That hole is METRIC M8 1.25 I told you that. Don't try that 5/16" grade 5. I see 3 hash marks for grade 5. Thread chase that hole really good and make sure some other Knucklehead don't have the threads nuts up with standard bolt. Good Luck.
This is a reverse band similar to the TH400. If it is bad and worn it will have no reverse. I have been thru many reverse bands over the years with plow trucks. No amount of magic oil or changing filters is going to fix the issue. I have seen it happen in a heartbeat and I seen it progress with...
I received a few pictures via Email on an estimate to repair this Blazer.
A friend seen it on Facebook market for $2500. He called me and ask if I got the pictures. I said yes. I ask if he was near the vehicle. He said he was on his way to look at it. I said make a U turn and head back...
