If I remember correctly, they are made from 14 inch X1/2 inch wide channel iron cut to 7 1/2 ft length, with 3/8 inch x 4 inch angle iron welded to the underside to hook to the 3 inch schedule 80 pipe slipped through the rear tiedown eyes for supports.
I don't make anything light duty.
Welcome to the site from NC,ya'll definetly started out with a bigger truck, just a few facts about 10 tons....
115 inches wide, gotta have permits to drive em.
1400X24 tires,no longer avialiable,at least not road legal ones, unless you want to pay $1000+ each.
Expect no more than 3 to 4 mpg...
It's called "polarizing" the generator, same procedure as on older farm tractors, run a hot wire from 24V+ and momentarily touch it to the Field terminal B on the generator connector at the generator itself.

Got 1 short...

Probably run out to Knoxville TN then north on I-75,479 miles each way.
Dunno what i'll drive yet,I may not have the 915A1 by then.
I have checked my 915A1 several times, empty or loaded it gets about 5.5 mpg or about 550 miles to the fill up,I have not noticed any difference grossing 70 to 80K vs running bobtailed, other than quicker acceleration.
It's not overfueling, very little black smoke on takeoff or pulling...
Well,I have been running Chevron HD 50wt drivetrain oil in my deuce and 5 ton transfer cases for several years now with no ill effects, and unless Papabear has changed it the Proud American #3 is running the same 50wt oil in both the trans and t-case as well.
I haven't noticed any metal on the...
Well,I am gonna guess that the nut is an extra front lug nut,the 2 bolts are the bolts that go on the pivot points for the spare tire mount in the front of the bed,the Pin,no idea what that fits.
