I have a M170 that is missing ALL the seats and litter stuff. The eng is in pices. I'm thinking about making it in to an "air field taxi" and putting in a _______ eng and auto trans so the GF can drive it. I'm not looking to go fast or BIG power, just some thing that will start on the frist try...

One is for the M211 brake systems and one is for the M211 break systems.

I'd say it's more doable than most as all the parts are already made and out there to get. Just look thought the parts book to see what is difrent and you will see what you need.

I have a spark plug list for older military vehicles. It does not list a M113 or a "R44" but does show a WR44 witch is a AC# it's a 14mm with a 3/8" reach this cross to a autolite 2243. They also show 44 cross to autolite 294 same dia and reach.

You can get the shielded spark plugs at O'Reilly auto parts. I got I think autolite there befor. I had the number and they had to order them in but they had them in there waerhouse so they stock them. Now if you ask the kid at the counter for shielded spark plugs I bet you $$ they will just look...
There is a place call Stephen (sp) wood some thing that sell the troop seats they may have bow also. Look in the classified as member sell used ones and/or ebay. I got a set from ebay befor. To make them you would need a steam box and a jig to bend them. Not too hard but would take a lot of set...

As for the OP, some one also but dead bolts in the lower corner of the doors. They did a good wirte up on it. Try searching for "security" seems like there was a long thread on all kinds of ways too lock the doors, battery switch...
