I'll shoot another video in a couple months with the tarp off the truck and everything in place. This was just a spare of the moment "Oh yah, I forgot to make a video" video.
The drip pans are a requirement for anything that can drip. Drip or not, you'll find the pallet with an absorbent cloth under the oil pan. I've been at GL when the environmental inspectors made their rounds. Apparently there are HUGE fines for any kind of drip in the yard oil on the ground.
Here's my rebuild thread on my M35A2 w/soft top.

It'll show you what I did for mounting.
I forgot to share my M109A3 project I did a few weeks back. It started out as touching up the roof's sealant to repainting the whole truck just for the heck of it
All September weekends are a no go for me. I have a double header to ump and a double header to coach every Saturday. Yes, that's four little league games;-/. Those are a good 12 hour day.
I'm selling mine if you need one;-)

Hey Peter that's in my AO. What's going on in Aberdeen/Hoquiam area tomorrow????? I've got a double header I'm coaching from 0900-1430 hours in Montesano. So it looks like I'm going to miss it. Must be the Logger's Playday Parade.
Repainted truck and sealed the roof.
Well...what started out as just seal a couple spots turned into re-sealing the entire roof...that lead to retouching a couple spots....that lead to well.....repainting the entire truck:???:. After everything was said and done, I rethought what I did. I...
Paint the M109A3. Used nothing more than my Wagner Powersprayer and Home Depot Behr Exterior Flat using the Federal Standard Color Formula. She really didn't need to repainted but I resealed the roof and though...why not?;-)
I haven't done a whole lot with this trucks due to the M939 series truck coming into the yard. Most of my time has been spent on the M925A1 guntruck. Now that project is winding down, I have started refocusing on this truck. Not sure what I'm going to do but I still want a military style camper...
LOL, what outstanding timing. I picked up all three colors at HOME DEPOT last week and started painting last Wednesday. I decided to reseal the roof and well...one thing lead to another. I decided to repaint the truck;-).
Here's what I used for color codes:
383 Green-FS34094
383 Brown-FS30051...
Personally, I would avoid the Gillespie RAPCO paint. It's way too glossy and fades quickly. My paint preference is BEHR exterior Flat mixed in the appropriate Federal Standard Color Codes;-).
