    Yes, but in my case I had a 220V Hot plate and two torches pointed at the part for 30 mins until it was glowing red hot before I started welding anything.

    Not that it matters much for this discussion but I used to weld cast iron turbo manifolds all the time. The real key is using the right rod and pre-heating the part to 300+ deg and slowly cool after welding to avoid cracks.

    OK newb question... The center master off switch in my truck seems to do nothing. I would assume that with it off, the ignition would NOT get any power. I my truck I can start the truck and drive away with everything working with the master off. Is it jammed in the ON position?

    The bubbles are a constant flow with the return flow of fuel, but the smaller line right off the back of the valve cover is black so I cant see if they are coming from there or the 'T' itself which might be bad.     Since fuel discussions came up again....I noticed air bubbles on the return line side, I assume that is NOT normal? The engine runs great but I would assume it should not be making bubbles? Thoughts?
