Cap your stack when your parked. Rain & snow will accumulate in the bottom of the J Pipe and it will rust through. A soup can will do as a cap. Also from the type of holes in your flex pipe, it looks as though it was rubbing against the body. Do a fit check when you install your new flex pipe.
First welcome aboard. Second, as already stated change you primary and secondary fuel filters, and check your fuel tank for debris. Also get familiar with the TMs (tech manuals). You'll find plenty of knowledge and support here. Keep us posted on your progress. (send pictures)

I've been running the Lucas product with TB Zinc-Plus in my Deuce for about a year (600mi), and the only thing I've noticed is, it starts easier in real cold weather. I'm running Rotella T 15-40 engine oil.
