    ABS light on

I troubleshooted and solved my non-functioning ABS system. My light would not shut off either. Goto post #21 for my write up: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?100847-WSUCougar-s-M925A1-Acquisition-and-Build-Thread/page3

    New 5 ton owner-- finally

All the trucks I have recovered have had at least a 1/2 tank of fuel. The only issue I encountered were flat tires and low/dead batteries. Depending on how long she sat, the brake pads may be sticking. Bring a big stinkin' hammer with you to help free the brakes up. If they allow you to...

If your turbo blew up what would you replace it with?

The M35A2's were made up until 1989 (new production, not rebuilds). Chances are it's an M35A2C. Most of the later deuces were USAF contract trucks with the dropside bed. All of my late modeled deuces have had a non-whistler turbo. One can quickly identify which turbo by the appearance of the...

    VIC-3 compatability with VIC-1?

That's the H-161. That's the switch that will toggle between Intercom/Radio. The Radio has a momentary switch, so you'll need to hold the switch to use the radio. The switch is suppose to have two straps on it to mount it on the front of your chest (I removed the straps on mine).

    VIC-3 compatability with VIC-1?

VIC-1 can be either PTT or VOX. It all depends on what you're using for headsets. If you use the H-161 headset then it's VOX. If you use the H-251 wit the M-80 microphone then you're PTT. In regard to the radio/Intercom, the H-161 headset has a switch on the cord to allow you to switch between...

    VIC-3 compatability with VIC-1?

I would say no. Connections are completely different. I believe the VIC-3 is digital?

PNW-2013-Fifth Annual Chehalis River Valley M/V Convoy & Campout

Hi James, actually I was thinking about having you towards the front/lead us in the parade. Not sure if Aaron is in the parade or not. If not, then please lead our column. I don't want your kids to smell all the diesel fumes from all the 5 tons;-). So yes, that would be outstanding to have you...
