The first second shift is manual. The second third shift is 200 below governed. The rest of the shifts are 600 below governed. It sounds like they set it to shift using the rated hp or the governor is not set correctly. What is you'd governor set at?

OP what is the model number of the trans in your truck. You need to read the tag to se what version of the trans you have

It looks like things have not changed since I left new jersey a couple of decades ago. We used to run around the pine barrens and hated the holes that were dug by the trucks with the 40" or 44" mudders or swampers on them

If I remember correctly the shift point adjustment is internal on the mt series trans and is best set on the bench.

I have an older Lincoln sp130t this is the same machine as the 180 they just changed there numbering system. My machine is amps at rated duty cycle. Now they rate them at max amps. It has been a great machine for about 20 years.

25 mph would drive me nuts. In order to go that slow i would have to run in low range. Besides the cruise control will not work at that speed. This is the way to travel. The long wheelbase might hurt the turning radius. It does need an enclosed garage.
