WSUCougar's M925A1 Acquisition and Build Thread

Under the Dash Light Switch Panel Today I got the chance to finally mount my light switch panel. The panel itself is made from steel angle iron I got from Home Depot. I just cut her down to length and drilled a series of holes for the rotary switches and toggle switches. I originally planned on...

PNW-2012-Fourth Annual Chehalis River Valley M/V Convoy & Campout

Not many of us log in much anymore. As my kids get older, my "free time" seems to be disappearing. Oh well, it's all worth it:-)

How do you paint your Deuce?

I used the Home Depot Behr Exterior Flat paint. Here's my thread on what I did: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?73018-1968-JK-M35A2-Restoration-Project!&highlight Paint codes no longer work b/c Home Depot changed things up with their mixers. I personally dislike Gillespie Paint from...

    PNW Info Thread!

Yep, I started that thread. You want to see the results up close? I'll try and bring one of my Behr paint trucks to the next rally. I just shot the interior of my M925A1. There are other alternatives out there like the Gillespie Paint from Rapco. However, the paint is way too glossy for a...

Here's my Behr Paint truck project: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?73018-1968-JK-M35A2-Restoration-Project!&highlight= The paint codes in this thread won't work anymore because HD changed their paint matcher/mixer. The newest 383 Green CARC paint formula for HD is in this thread...

    PNW Info Thread!

I personally use my backyard;-) Seriously though I do. I use a Wagner Power Sprayer with Home Depot Behr Ext Flat paint. They match it perfectly to military paint. If you can afford $80 for a sprayer and $25/gallon, you're golden.

Light Power Wire Project Next project was to run my power wires for the lights. I ran three 12 AWG Presolite wires from the battery compartment, down through the battery drain hose, up over the tranny to the firewall of the truck. On the firewall, I have three 15 AMP military circuit breakers...

Thanks Juan! I bought a piece of angle iron that will be around 8 inches long. I'm going to drill a series of holes for the switches. I'm contemplating toggle switches for future projects as well...hahaha. It's hard to do a project without trying to think way far ahead. A guy can certainly get...
