Rusty, I'm sure you have been down this road, but would it be possible to use an M275A2 fuel tank? And in doing so, would I have to give up my tool box, spare tire, and pioneer rack?

Exactly. When I purchased my truck I checked the front U Bolts and found the R/H nuts were loose and tightened them. About 1500 miles later I noticed excessive tire wear on the R/H front tire, and the U Bolt nuts were loose again. Replace the U Bolts, nuts, and lock washers...
