There's GOT to be a better way. Why not just re-shape the transmission tunnel? Cut the cab as needed to make the transmission fit, and then make a new access cover? Are you dead-set on a body-lift?

Thanks for the suggestions WM. You know what would be great, is if we could get everyone to take some basic measurements of whatever tanks they've got access to. Create sort of an index of fuel tanks with dimensions, and pics if possible (showing fill locations, pickups, mounts, etc.).
