I can get my deuce 500 miles on 7 gallons of fuel... so that makes it... 71.4MPG!!!! It just depends on how you move it! I can't find my pictures of deuces on flatcars, had to use the TM drawing

I've seen people do it, but usually they just bolt the axle to the frame, with no springs whatsoever. Seen several m105's done that way. I think doing a spring under would work fine, not sure on how easy it would be to get smaller rims/tires.

lol I know Kenny, But if the xm818 is the dead one, I don't have a fifth wheel handy! I still need to put the m109 on the back of the 818 and see how it works. My issue is how to get it on and off- I don't have a wrecker, and the ramps on the m172 are too #@!%@#$ heavy.

Whatevery you do, label it! Yes, I believe over 550 gallons is the legal limit, after that you need placards, Hazmat insurance, etc etc, even for private use. So they are correct, a 600 gallon pod would have to be placarded IF it was full. As long as you never fill it up, you would be ok...
