Hi Peter, more than likely I'll be spending the 4th at St. Peter's Hospital. My wife is scheduled to be induced this Monday (July 2nd). Would like to make it to an event, I'm having withdrawals and I miss all you guys!!
RCL Install Part II
Finally completed the RCL install and got everything wired and switched. Today I mounted three 15 AMP circuit breakers to the firewall. I wired them directly from the batteries. Now that I think about it, I'm not sure why I did three circuits. I had to drill a 3/4 inch hole...
Gees Mike! Way to hang in there. Most guys probably would have given up on this hobby. You'll have a near new truck st this rate. Just keep at it shipmate.
Made a run to HFT to get some pry bars and 15/16" deep sockets for the FMTV wheel/Goodyear MV/T project. This is going to be fun. I have no crane (the 923's won't work) and no engine hoist. This is all going to be done by hand in the field. Better pull out my MacGyver book. However, not sure...

I painted two of my trucks in at least 70 degree weather. Luckily I had at least 7 days of good weather without rain. They all turned out. Humidity was around 50%. I painted them in direct sunlight. The paint would literally dry before it made contact with the truck. Has held up with no...
I threw some fuel/solvent resistant two part epoxy on one of my tanks. Has held up since;-). Sounds like Josh has some serious competition for this years Hardluck award.
The CTIS may keep the tire up so long as the CTIS works. Another concern is how long was the tire flat and if the truck was driven around with a flat tire. If so, the side walls could be compromised and bad things can happen.
