    Hot engine warning light.

yes it seems that several the motor pool sergeants throughout to army decided that they would only use whatever they have on hand instead of trying to order the plugs fit the hole properly

    Hot engine warning light.

Did you not read the post by wsucougar or jonesal? The lights were removed because they were not working properly, I have seen them removed and replaced with metal or even cardboard strips across the holes to cover them up.

Which is the better power plant?

It is also according to what truck you are talking about and what you are going to use it for. For my money a wrecker should have a big OTR motor ie 250 or bigger and stick shift. Bobbed playtoy 8.3 because it is lighter and auto would be nice to run around town in. So give us something to go on...

Winch experts: secrets to getting a secure cable/lock nut connection

I have done a few and have talked to the engineer at Esmet they recommend to replace the plug each time and the thimble if damaged. I replace both they are not high priced and feel better about the termination, less chance of failure.

Not sure how shipper loaded my truck

Yeah did that at Shelby with two 931s wish we had taken pictures. Only way to get them on rgn but not USA legal. It puts truck over weight with splitable load.

Not sure how shipper loaded my truck

No beer involved and what the old man would have tried would have flipped the house because it would have gone across the smaller hill at a side angle and the house would have fell over. There was no danger in doing it right. Not one tire slipped or left the ground. That wasn't showboating he...

M923 Transmission to Transfer case U-Joint sweet spot

That's the right way do it but I would suggest that if the truck is new to you that you remove the whole assembly clean the shaft, joints, everything of all old grease and repack with new synthetic grease of your choice, and new bolts with locktite. These shafts and joints are the worst...
