I know it sounds like I'm taking up for ebay, but that's not really true. I don't think ebay is running a scam. They simply offer a marketplace for a range of items. There's certainly groups out there that are scamming people though. Just last week I found a MV parts supplier that had listed...
I think the Arduino could be used for this certainly. Adapting sensors probably wouldn't be that hard. But you'd probably have to make use of a relay board to power the actual valves. Unless they use PWM. The hardest part is going to be getting the design parameters. The rest is coding to...
I'm replying to this thread. HumveeAir is the OE manufacture. If you're interested in purchasing a system from them, they don't do direct sales. You'll need to contact Midwest Military Equipment. You can however reach out to them from their website contact info for any technical discussion...
Yeah, that mount just ahead of the box looks like a cab mount bushing for a truck. I'm guessing some pickup truck or van chassis with a box enclosure on it that got hacked up into a trailer and a 105 axle used under it. The box flooring certainly is "tubbed" out for dual wheels.

Please vote for MV of the month! Feel free to campaign in this thread, but please keep it here and not via PM.

I called it out as satire, you kept on. I thought perhaps you were likewise returning the sarcasm. Given your outrage, I guess not. Especially the edit to add the last sentence.
Yeah, the HMMWV faces the same lack of power on tap issue as the CUCV. But the suspension adds another variable to the mix that can make things interesting at times.
My 1008 however gets beat like a rented mule. But it handles everything I throw at it. (It also has a turbo) Several people...
