Changing Out Head Studs and Nuts?

The only time a headbolt gets replaced is if there is pittimg in the fillet, the shank is heavily erroded or it is stretched past it's limit. The studs are very robust on the multi and they are a low torque item. As for shaving them, get a sanding block and clean the face...don't polish it, just...

    What it is your m105?

    Plugged radiator?

The last time I did a cooling system repair, I put a petcock in the intake manifold just in back of the stat. After the radiator filled, I put a pressure tester on the rad and gave it a few pumps 'till coolant came out of the vent. I then had to add about a gallon of coolant. I do not have a heater.

    Plugged radiator?

Yeah, these are hard to fill and bleed, even with a fresh radiator. Another thing, DO NOT run the engine without a stat. These have two cooling loops, block and radiator. When the stat is closed, the stat shunts the coolant through the block loop. When the stat opens, it covers the hole in the...

Wheel bearing removal - Rear Inner

Get a heel bar and pop it off with that. It will just slide right off. Maybe someone used loctite on it?

    Plugged radiator?

The multi is tough to get all the air out. Another thing, verify the dash gauge with a known good gauge. You could be chasing your tail!

Fuel not getting to the engine

Another thing to look at is the manual shut off. If you used that to shut the engine off last, you'll need to manually go flip the lever back on. It is located at the outlet line off of the pump.

    Small radiator leak

Coarse ground pepper or a cigarette or two. Put a tablespoon of pepper in the radiator and run it. A cig will do the same thing. Put the tobacco in the radiator and it will plug the leak like the pepper. Both have got me outa the woods..well, desert actually! Will work for 6 months or so.

    Oil Pan Leaking

Before you go and do the gasket, make sure that is what is leaking. Oil runs downhill and the fan will blow it all over the place. Look hihger on the engine. The leak path will be the clean spot...as in no dirt/dust stuck to it.

    Thanks to moderators

I believe the last post is what got things rolling. He was WAY out of line and the language was something reserved for a bar at dockside. 2cents

Lines running to the Air-shift front axle engagement

If you like you could. Won't hurt anything.

Lines running to the Air-shift front axle engagement

Correct. Disconnect at the t-case and engage the lever to clear the line

Lines running to the Air-shift front axle engagement

Disconnesct it under the truck where it goes into the t-case. That will clear the line when you flip the switch.
