The two deuces I've owned both had the standard folding step and they worked great. The folding step on my M35A3 is mounted on the passenger side due to the presence of the oil tank for the hydraulic-powered winch on the drivers side. I agree that using the folding step without the pin...
If you need to take it apart and are concerned, there is a Case dealer fairly near you in Greenville. I've bought some odds and ends Case parts from them in the past. They are very friendly and easy to deal with and have a Service Dept. You might want to call them and see what they would...
I would keep pumping grease in it like Guy said and exercising it. Taking the pin out is probably not that difficult with a big hammer and then cleaning rust off of the pin and out of the holes. Putting the pin back in may be a real pain due to alignment issues.
I wouldn't want to disconnect the alternator on my MEP003A because it is trailer mounted and I occasionally and sometimes frequently move the genset temporarily to remote areas of my property for temporary power, sometimes for days at a time. I find it no real inconvenience to simply pull the...
You saved me some time - thanks. The hose on the passenger side is completely broken in two. I'll replace both sides. They are very easy to get to. I'm sure that is the problem.
I think when they say not to drive it with the PTO engaged, they are talking highway speeds. On page 97 of TM 5-2420-224-10, under 'Moving The Vehicle', the manual states: 'PTO must be disengaged or pump will be damaged' before moving.
I have now installed the same NOCO charger on my MEP003A genset with Optima Red Tops. It works great and there is no need to disconnect the battery cables.
The intermediate speed control works fine. Actually, everything works great except the 4X4. The 4X4 used to work OK and I could hear it when I engaged the switch. Now, there is zero sound when the switch is engaged. My unloader is set at 105 PSI and I don't have any problems maintaining that...
Not a good day today. I was moving some mulch with the loader on my FLU419 through our yard to put on the blueberry bushes. I was already messing the lawn up with the weight. Unfortunately, I sunk far enough that I needed 4X4. Also unfortunately, my 4X4 no longer functions for some reason...
I have actually used the loader on my tractor to pick up material and dump it in the loader on the FLU to drive it on the road to where the material was needed. Much faster and more accurate removal of material.
I can do fairly accurate work with the backhoe on my FLU419, especially digging ditches, and the more I use it the better I get. However, almost every time I try to do accurate work with the loader, I end up parking and switching to my John Deere 5520 tractor and loader, which is much easier to...
I would call the Arizona DOT yourself and explain the situation. Find out what is involved for the current owner to have the title corrected. I've had two similar problems in the past in Georgia and the state readily corrected the problem when I showed them proof of the error. Once was for...
As Natrgatr said, make sure the PTO is engaged. To engage the PTO, move the lever to the rear with the clutch depressed. You can hear the PTO when engaged. Also, make certain you never drive the FLU419 with the PTO engaged or you will cause damage. The switch for increasing RPM on the rear...
