The cranes in the Photos appear to have the roller chassis and I am trying to determine how this chassis works. Being self contained they can be moved on the truck bed from the front to the rear, But how are they attached to the bed because they can not be rigidly bolted.

Can some one explain how the crane is attached to the truck or trailer if it can roll down the bed? Does this make the crane removable?

Inside storage is best. Here in socal you do note need to worry about a cliamate controled garage just needs to be vented. Add fuel stabilizer to keep the algee at bay disconect the batteries. Do a complete inspection before you drive it next time and then you should be good to go.
