    Eletric to Air Horn Conversion??

Hammerdown, I did this exact same thing on my m109. The horn button on the steering column is the ground, and the positive goes to the electric horn at all times. Just get a deuce horn with solenoid valve, and wire it up just like the electric, one wire to one side, another to the other...

Convert to 12 volt or use a power inverter?

Oh very true, I used to use it for the small stuff too. But I think he is talking some serious draw, with all the radio, lights, and A/C unit.

Convert to 12 volt or use a power inverter?

Hunt, the issue with that, is if you draw enough power off just one batt, there will be an inbalance. One battery might charge to 15 or 16 volts and the other to only 10. I have personally had it happen in my 818, I left the intake heater on, which is 12. I relized after half a day of driving...

Convert to 12 volt or use a power inverter?

Remember, 24volt loads draw less amps than 12volt ones. Just slap in a hummer dual voltage alt. Does 24 and 12, fits in the same spot. You can put 3 normal batteries in the battery box. Then you have a dedicated 12v system.

I filled the 275gallon tote about half full from the hose on top of the hill the first night, and left it in the m105 the entire weekend. I had to dump about half of that. Kip, the pump is male hose fittings, I will bring some fittings so we can mix and match.

I've got a cylinder I could bring as well. And a 12v water pump, and 275gallon potable water tote like last year.

We had a low country boil, with shrimp. That could do it. I'll get with Cabell and see how the menu is looking. He is probably busy with Aberdeen prep right now.

Ferro's rail hauler m818 gets paint

I'd have taken off the spare tire holder, tool box, and mirrors. I stripped the cab of all the data plates, seat cushions, and switches, but ran out of paint before I even started in the cab.

Ferro's rail hauler m818 gets paint

Yeah, I did start at the bottom and worked my way up. If I ever paint anything again, I will take everything I can off first. I thought I would save time by leaving it on, but you miss to much and overspray other areas to get the hard to reach spots.

LOL. I've got my wife going on the 600 mile ride... I'll be there with the Wife. Bringing the m818 and m109. We will be eating, and I will probably be peeling potatos too.

Ferro's rail hauler m818 gets paint

Let it dry and scrap it off. Comes off really easy, and there was already tan overspray I needed to scrap anyway. Definitly saved prep time!

Ferro's rail hauler m818 gets paint

I took the door panel to Sherwin williams, and they matched it up. i don't think it has a hardener. I just wanted it to look good for a year or two, I'll blast it all the way down and do a proper paint at a later time.
