got started on the solder job tonight. Couldn't figure out why the solder wasn't sticking...hmm did I forget a step.....oh yah flux. I forgot to buy flux. Project put off yet another day.:cry: Luckily I don't work tomorrow...whew!!
Have you tried putting some air tool oil in the back of the airpack? The air tool oil will help lube things up in there. It is actually something we're suppose to be doing to our airpacks for maintenance purposes.
Thanks for all your recommendations and advice guys. The holes are about 6-8 inches up from the bottom of the radiator in the vertical cooling passageway. Both are about 1 mm each. Luckily I only got the one passage way. I'm really kicking myself now because I thought about the plywood cover...
Well I decided to change out my hoses today on my '68. I got in a bit of a hurry and completely forgot to put my usual piece of thin plywood in front of the radiator. Well, while I leaned the radiator forward to loosen the fan bolts....it happened:shock: My winch clutch handle lock out bracket...

bump. I'm thinking of maybe using a shipping company. Any recommendations? Old Dominion, R&L Carriers. Looks like it's hit or miss with U-Ship so I think I may avoid them unless there's someone with good reputation

I'm looking to possibly move a big round object that weighs close to 350 lbs (under 4 ft in diameter). It is located in/around Los Angeles and would need to be move to Olympia, WA. I thought about maybe driving down to get it but 2400 round trip miles doesn't justify it.
