Dunno if you could do that. REmember, these arent little gassers. Tehre is alot of pressure in the cylinder. All the meat is around the pin bores and around the area under the crown. If enough material was removed, it would most likely cause a piston failure. I know the wt. difference is...
The original number, an OLD one and starts with AR-XXXX, supercedes about 6 times to a 3 million part number, that supercedes to the Tri-Tech number. Like I said, THOSE are still being made, you just can't mix the three and four ring pistons due to wt. differences. How Cummins works is the...
OK, I have read the TM and looked at a halftrack up close and personal like. There is a guy who has contacted me and asked me to change out the tracks, install new brake shoes while the tracks are off and if needed, do the wheel cylinders and repair/replace one of the rear wheel/spindle...
If you will be mixing fuels like deisel, gas, etc, I would. If it is just straight diesel, I don't see a need. It is only explosive in an atomized state and a very hot ign source.
Here's some from BLKHMMWV. I have some too, just gotta find the time to get them up here. The deal that Jeff got into is in these.

Again, thanks to Shovel Weenie, AKA Yellowbronc for those brats and tard, those hit the spot!
It is possible, but most likely just old fuel, it turns dark the older it gets. Cummins sells this cleaner that we tend to call "diesel douche" I have seen it raise HP by 30 w/o a tune up. You can buy some of it and follow the directions, then run out of a clean bucket of fuel to see what it...
Good to see thngs are moving along Mike. Got you VM, we did indeed suck up a few coldies fer ya. If you make it to the spring trip, you'll get the award for the farthest traveled instead of Yellowbronc...I mean Shovel Weenie.
Yo udon't even need to do that. Just drain it from the radiator. If you are doing 1 or 2 hoses, might as well do them all. When you refill it, DO open the bleed on the aftercooler, you'll have a big air pocket if you don't.
The above is incorrect. The PT system on the 250 makes 150 PSI max..OK maybe 10 or so more, depending on the pump code. There is only flow at low RPM and it only turns to pressure at higher engine speeds. The pump seals are not as prone to leaking as the injector o-rings. The injectors are fed...
It was good seeing old friends and great to put new faces with names! Had an uneventful trip home with Hole and 998 junkie to the 18, then he split off. I forget how much of an uphill that pull from Victorville to Cajon is, 40 MPH in 4th maxed out. The headwind didn't help. Many thanks to blk...
JUST A HEADS UP!!! Some bone head is MOVING the signs Hole has put out. SO, when you get off at Stoddard Wells/Bell Mtn, you can only go one way...take it apx 6 miles, over the RR tracks 'till it crosses Dale Evans. Continue STRAIGHT, it will turn to dirt in apx 100 yds. Go past the Go Cart...
