Just curious, is there a reason why they painted the AB-15 antenna mount red? Mine was red when I took off the layers of dried up CARC paint. Noticed it was red.
Thanks Wayne, both of my '88's do have the dual circuit brakes on them orig from AM General. The only difference I can see is the A2's have the reservoir on top of the MC whereas the A3's have them under hood. Both reservoirs are exactly the same though.
Wow that is incredible. LOL you just answered a question I've had for about a year now. I always wondered where my AB-15 antenna mount went to. Now I know;-). Sure would like to get the S-144 to go with it now..haha
I did the exact same thing on my MEP-006A EUC. I won it on 18DEC10 and didn't send my EUC in until 08JAN11 or something like that. GL will send you 3 emails stating you need to send in your EUC by a certain date (they'll state that in the email) before you default on it. If you submit the EUC...
I order the majority of my maintence parts from Erik's. The things Erik doesn't have I try Saturn Surplus. Eriks has everything in stock and ships it ASAP. [thumbzup]

use a blade to remove the thick stuff. I've always used CRC brake cleaner to remove my GL war paint. you don't want to paint over it as it will show through.
Haha, rain or shine is good to go at Brads. Just take some GAA and coat your body with it Scott. It'll keep the rain off for sure...haha. Yah just ask Brad about the Henderson guy and his shorts. He shakes his head whenever I goto his place. If it's downpouring...I'm in shorts. If it's...
G'day!
Welcome aboard! Good luck in securing a deuce. Wonder if it would be beneficial to secure a spare multifuel engine and stow it in the cargo bed. Good idea to have a spare down under for those just in case moments.
Wow, that is going to be one awesome project should you go with the restore. I don't think she looks that bad. It'll be amazing to see what she looks like after a good pressure washing. You'd be surprised of how bad she really doesn't look after a good cleaning. She's got some character and...
