What is the VIN on? an actual Data Plate? or just scratched into the side?
For S&Gs... check the INTERIOR of the A-Pillar where your left leg/foot would be... is there an alpha-numeric set of 6 letters/numbers spray painted there?
Also, the front reminds me more of how an Army HMMWV would...
Yes, there is a switch to prevent the truck from starting in gear. Must be in Neutral (or Park if equipped) for the HMMWV to start. Some did get finickey over time on where the lever had to be.
Some other things with the JLTV. Slung load, or, in certain (most) configurations, able to be transported by a C-130.

So, I know where they are, but I couldn't get access. They are being stored under 4 large tents (metal framed), in a secure yard. I am aware of the plans for the future but it's not set in stone, we'll have to see what actually happens.
