If you're going to crank, make sure that your window guides, or whatever, aren't going to catch the Vinyl or whatever you put on and tear it all up the first time you lower your window... Might want to get something cheap to test first...

the red line is the spell checker for the browser you are using. When you say smileys, do you mean you can't get to the window where they are to select? if so, sounds like you have pop-ups disabled... Did you recently change or upgrade browsers? Did you let someone else (kids?) use your computer?
