No it would not, I would add one! I would also add the USGI manual windshield washer as well. I got them both from Saturnsuplus. $26 for the gunkit and $27 for the windshield washer kit. I also put on the air tank drain kit so I don't have to crawl under the truck
MODS:
Double gun kit...
It's amazing how effortlessly it is to steer a deuce w/one of those. I'm trying to make it as easy as possible for my wife to drive a deuce. Luckily it came equipped on the truck already. Hmm she get's the '88 and I'm stuck with the old '68:wink:
Hey Mark that's right I remember your truck. Did your's come with the air-assisted steering? How many miles/hours did your truck have on it when you got it? Is your truck CARC'd or Enamel paint? I noticed my '86 is really faded and does not have a CARC stencil on it so I assume it's enamalled.

I would venture to say yes the dual brake circuit is safer. With the pre-86 deuce, as you know they have a single brake circuit. Meaning if you...
I agree the performance and ride are exactly the same. However, the peace of mind of a dual braking system is priceless to me. Especially when you have your wife driving the truck. The '86 M35A2C and several later models that I have seen did not have pioneer tool racks on them. I was just trying...
Good question. Non-vented fuel cap, hot day, build up of pressure in the tank, no room to expand...not sure if that would be enough pressure to blow the tank up but may be enough to ruin some seals like the in tank fuel pump seal.
I'm just curious about what people paid for a later model US Air Force contract M35A2C (1986-1988). More specifically I am interested in the trucks equipped with the dual braking systems. Seems they all seem to come standard w/heaters, dropsides, hardtops, parking brake/low air warning light on...
still available. I've had 3 commits/no shows on them thus far. They are in the classifieds, however I thought I'd give an update as these have "SOLD" three times now and I told potentials that weren't available but are available
Hello sir, I just won a M35A2C and was wondering if you could look up the info.
a. Serial Number (VIN number): 88K627
b. Registration Number: 1040-11357
c. NSN without dashes: 2320009260873
d. Where you bought it: Oregon ARNG
e. Bumper numbers if you can legibly read them: 41 EIB, 141SPTBN...
Looks like the second from the left is the plate that goes on the driver side of the winch itself (the cover for the brake). The plate on the bottom right looks like a rebuild tag. The far left plate looks like the plate that is usually mounted on the passenger side fender right next to the...
