    Light bar!

I may just do that. I have one of the kits I bought many years back. I got too much stuff already bolted up top to install the dam thing and be able to clear everything with a cupola installed as it is. Curious what kind of tricks you had to do. The wiring loom is massive .

    Light bar!

You could also try and modify something like this to work in /on your HMMWV. It's massive system but it could be trim down a bit . Sutton Surplus - Military Surplus Trucks and Equipment - Eyecon 360 Light kit 360 for MRAP RG33 - M923 - Caiman - HMMWV

Anyone put an "infotainment" in a HMMWV?

I hope you get the system figured out. You would probably have a few people interested in them should you decide to offer a finished product. Especially if it can be made to fit in a BFT screen frame and control Box. I can send you some pictures and measurements!! BH

Anyone put an "infotainment" in a HMMWV?

I'd love it if you could build it into the BFT screen and hard drive. Then it would look like it belongs in the vehicle for those that try to keep everything looking OEM. As to the GPS How about the Dagger or Slugger or Plugger or whatever the original military systems already exist out there...

Going to hook at my first HMMWV Today!

Well since no one has said it. Make sure you can get it registered for the street if that is your ultimate desire. Nothing worse than buying it and finding out it's off highway only. sometimes buying one that's already registered and plated in your state is a plus.

    CTIS DASH PICS

Main reason is it leaks. ok for wrench turners but the guys that don't know how or don't want to work on their own stuff would find it a pain in the ass and most people don't probably ever take their truck off the road. Here are a few pictures of what I believe is a Military CTIS pump. 4 wires...

    CTIS DASH PICS

I believe the compressor was mounted up on the shelf near the windshield washer reservoir. I think I have one someplace I can take a picture of it. Thats all I can contribute. I was planning on just plumbing to a storage tank and not do the whole CTIS hub thing.

    Air conditioned half doors….

Nice work. I just cut 4 x doors in half right below the window and skinned them. But that was back in the day parts were a plenty and trucks were hard to find.

    Slantback M1043A2

No adhesive between the skin and door. You may find that they were never painted.

    Intro/skid plate question/exhaust question.

Not much to photograph really. I just cut a section of it off above the wire cage and then re welded. At the moment the fording exhaust is off the truck due to a recent parade. Didn't want exhaust blowing on the people in back of HMMWV so I but on normal exhaust pipe.

    Intro/skid plate question/exhaust question.

I cut my fording exhaust pipe to fit under my garage door header.

    HMMWV gauge panel wiring diagram

Horse ---------- Water-------------- Drink You don't honestly expect him to try and help himself do you. Ok I'm going to go crawl back under my bridge now. I think I need to change my title to curmudgeon.

200 Amp Generator to charge power bank

You also should do some research on charging lithium-ion batteries. they charge differently than AGM's and standard lead acid do with a standard automotive style alternator generator.

    My FAV find!!

Where did the 3rd guy sit? The ones I've seen out here had a 3rd seat above the motor. the guys out here had 3 to 4 frames and one that was pretty much like yours but had the rear seat and all the weapon mounts on it. very cool. have fun with it.

What is the function of this component inside the TOW missile trucks

You might need to find a Female Commander. But nowadays you can probably go in for the upgrades to your chassis, and get away with it.

What is the function of this component inside the TOW missile trucks

Yes Traverse and Elevation Mechanism. Your base plate in your picture looks like the part on the far left with the exception your part is bolted to a mounting bracket to allow it to attach to the floor of the HMMWV. Then you have a coupling piece to clamp the T&E mech Far right part to either...

What is the function of this component inside the TOW missile trucks

Missiles are to long to pass up through turret whole. they I believe were passed from rear hatch opened from the top latch and pivoting on the lower pivot points. Think rumble seat on old cars

What is the function of this component inside the TOW missile trucks

The T&E mechanism mounts/stows there. When not mounted to a similar bracket on the roof.
