    If the fan is not engaging take air line loose on top of radiator fan shroud bend over to close it and zip tie or tape and fan should be on all the time.

    When you get that done! You need to check bolts on compressor brackets and insure the bolts are tight and pull front cover to check compressor nut for tightness. You do not need to remove cover completely just remove bolts and pull it towards radiator just enough to get wrench in to check...

    If the rubber is still completely there! Some or all of it might be gone

    No the Allen head only bolts the hub The rubber is the only thing holding the blade due to compression

    The holes are already there on blade and hub all you need are a good grade of bolts and locknuts.

    It's a easy fix to remove rubber and bolt fan to hub. And has been a reliable fix. We've done several trucks with no failures.

    That rubber will rot out and fan will wobble all over the place and when clutch kicks in it can destroy blade and throw it into radiator.
