That looks like something you'll have to make yourself. The only suggestion other than DIY is try contacting MCLB ALBANY (if they are still in business) and see if they have any laying around that they could send your way. Sometimes asking politely just get's you the desired results. The...
I never put the whole GRC 19 into my mutt when I had it, but I did at one time hare the PCR-25/77 with Am mounted on the passenger's side rear fender and the R-392 mounted on the driver's side rear fender. I love the R-392 great SW radio. I had the R-392 hooked up to an AB-15 antenna mounted...
Rest and heal up SC. We want to see your build, but not at the risk of you being in chair the rest of your life. So do as the docs and the health care people say and get back into the pink!
Here is a link to a SS post about gun trucks and the post by WarrenD talks about a book about M151 GT.

From the quick research I just did it was definitely California Dreamer. But I think you're going to be hard pressed to find any tech info on this or the other couple of 151 gun trucks. The reason is there was no official build for them. These jeeps were unit built from what they had on hand...
Just a quick google search for HMMWV Tube Doors brought up a couple of different options that are available if you want to spend the money. The other option would be to get some tubing and DIY the project. Just depends on how handy you are, the tools you have at hand, or how much money you...
Hmmm good question. I guess the first question is with canvas top up or not? Because then I would think something for a Jeep Wrangler would work if you are top up. Top down then I'm not sure maybe a sports car. What ever you get it's going to either be tight or too big. I know Beachwood...
It looks like you have power steering. Will you be hooking up a pump to the front of the motor? Also do you need a alternator for recharging? I know nothing about electric vehicles. Looks like you might have some room in the engine compartment to mount some of the batteries?
This is hard question to answer. In the 50-60s the NG was far more state controlled than federal controlled. It wasn't until the mid 70s the the Army took more control of the NGs equipment and training and enforcement of Army rules and regulations. It really depended on the the states...
Hey everyone. I was wondering if someone with an M880 (M882) truck could put and angle gauge on the front shocks to give me the angle degree of the shocks. From what I can see they are about 80-85 degrees but I'd like to have a confirmation. I'm installing the front axle from and M882 into...
Just wondering if they would work on Optima batteries? Sorry I don't know what size they are. The reason I ask is that a lot of folks do use Optimas and if that works on them or the 51R you may also be able to sell them to the M37 folks as well.
Am I correct in seeing that you are not using the 4 speed transmission but just going from electric motor to bell housing to the transfer case? Or am I just seeing it wrong in the pictures? Cool build want to see how it turns out.
I personally think these are better than the original battery hold downs for the M151. But if I was doing a restoration that might get judged then I would opt for the originals and not these. Powder coat them and I think someone would have a winner on their hands.
