I agree change the fuel filters when you can that would be a quicker fix, I'm concerned it may be that replacement pump,
keep posting, unless you picked up some bad fuel somewhere my bet is you have burned through anything in the tank, unless the bottom needed cleaned out.

I feel better prepared for the next go round, and agree location matters, transport can eat up a lot of cost you could have applied to the better off. Here's my take aways,

Hey I'm no expert but it looks as though the teeth are only slightly engaged at some point, I take it you have a Sprague air assisted set-up, It could be drifting back when the Sprague is not engaged?
Rob I like the pictures, good luck on the repair and finding the root cause, I take it It's completely engaged last time it was assembled right? just a guess but is something else loose that could cause more stress on the front. Or off road may be an addiction.
