Mine has the same problem. Level all is well, nose high it has trouble getting started. I thought my truck was low on fuel causing the problem. I had a 1/4 tank at the time. I just thought it was my truck. I'm glad to see this thread.
I have a M923 with a NHC-250. I want to put a jake on it . I've done a lot of reading on here but can't decide on which one to put on it. Which Jake would be the best option for my truck . Any thoughts or experiences with this will be appreciated .
Congrats on the new truck. My advice is always check the brake fluid before every trip. Use only dot 5 . That being said be sure to do a good pre trip as well .
That is exactly what I'm seeing. It is an oily vapor and may have a little steam in it. After your and Mike O's reply it makes me feel better now about my engine. Like I said it runs great it just has a little coming out of the slobber tube. I don't get to run it much though. Thanks guy's.
I got a box of mil surplus items and the box was marked deuce parts. Everything I found in it was m35 parts . The one thing in the box I found was a Holset turbo. I haven't seen these on a deuce .on the tag is says Assy, 3527107. Type h1e. My question is are these for a deuce or what ?
Just curious if anyone here has used the overdrive kit from Waterloo specialties ? I was browsing on eBay and saw this . Are these really worth the money ?
My front end felt the same . It wasn't until I removed the front wheel, hub , and spindle til I found my problem. With all of this apart I greased the universal joint in the axle, replaced the spindle bushing, buttoned it all back together and topped off the gear oil and all is well with mine now.
