Its on the firewall above the aircleaner, almost centered. There are 4 different types so you have to determine which type you have before attempting to adjust the AP. There is a thread somewhere in here that shows each type. Use the search thing to find it. Hope this helps.
Nice work....idle hands are definitly the devils workshop lol...When I get bored I tend to tinker on the MV too, even if there is nothing need be done.
When I flipped mine from lower to upper, I just looked at how every thing was mounted, then moved them to the same position. Then flipped the headlight buckets etc...
Progressive's Commercial policy for my Deuce was over 2000$ a year. They wanted 220 bucks a month. After about 2 months, I stopped paying them. I would rather pay some guy in a bad suit in a crummy office in a back alley behind a liquor store to insure my Deuce. Progressive is a ripoff for...
He means the troop seats, not a drop side bed. I also think his price question was aimed mostly at the bows and tarps kit, not so much the truck itself....but I could be wrong.
Well, troop seats include the frame that makes up the bottom part of a bow and tarp set. The fold down seats can be removed and are not necessary, but the stakes and runners that they attach to are. If you could fabricate some solid rectangular tubing "stakes" to go in the pockets of each side...
Side gates as in like, a drop-side bed, or do you mean the troop seats that support the bows and tarps? You'd be better off to just buy a set of troop seats rather then build them in my opinion, unless your a master crafstman versed in metal and wood working lol. Im not sure about the prices of...
Cool pics combatmech....I always wanted to shoot from a Chopper. For whatever reason, EVERY single time Ive ever flown in a Blackhawk ( maybe 10 or 12 times) , the doors were either open or removed....and only once was I NOT sitting on the outside seat. Nothing like hanging your foot over the...
Nice looking truck. And good job in covertly placing it lol...Im glad there are no rules about this sort of thing where I live. If anyone complains, I tell em to call the police. When they ask why, I say that a trespasser is about to be shot lol....works every time. [thumbzup]
Agreed...Im a trucker by trade. Was one in the army, and sadly they were all automatic or semi-auto trannys....todays drivers generally are not truckers...they are simply "steering wheel holders". Although Im fairly young, I grew up around OLD school truckers, and was trained as such. When I got...
Is it the same as a regular M35 or variant thereof? If its the same then they should be mounted side by side in between the frame rails just behind the cab...If they are the same, I can try to get some pictures tomorrow. My truck was a M109a3.
Well, today I finished my rear license plate frame by adding a home made license plate light assembly. I took a generic 12v license plate light from a chevy bumper, and found that the military side marker lights have the exact same bulb socket, so I just put a 24v bulb in it. Then while devising...
This is actually one of the reasons I bought mine. Ive found that having familiar things around related to better times of life is quite comforting. Hence the Deuce, the AR-15's etc etc. There are other reasons, because I could, Its cool, I was a truck driver in the Army and this was one of the...
He says she says...Everyone has something different to say, everyone has an opinion. Sometimes there are many who coincide and sometimes not. Im just gonna keep doing what I do and not think about it anymore. If it breaks, Ill fix it, If it doesnt, then who cares lol. Roast the clutch, shear the...
Test the sending unit with a multi meter...then test the wires between the sender and gauge, then test the gauge itself....might find your problem. If all chech out ok, then maybe you have debris blocking the passage to the sender? changing the oil and filters might make a difference, but if...
Im not sure and may be wrong, but from alot of the pics Ive seen of inside the cab of gun trucks in VN, most of them looked like they had no seat on the passenger side, and the space was occupied with ammo cans, and other stuff like that. Might want to ask Driver523...He seems to be one of the...
